KatFS Pre-Alpha v0.2.4 is out!

Hello everyone! I bring a small update to the KatFS demo today. Well, small in the short term as it doesn't bring many obvious changes over 0.2.3, but this should be an important update in the long run, as it updates KatFS from Unity 2019.4 to 2021.3! What this should mean is that I'll have more features and better tools to use during the development of the game. It also updates the "Made in Unity" intro to a more modern version, so you know this is a modern game! ;)

And actually, speaking of intro screens...

Wanting to bring KatFS closer to a professional-looking application, I've created a little animated splash screen for when you start up the game. Sometimes it's the small things.

Version 0.2.4 will be the last minor update to the Chapter 2 build of the KatFS demo. I wanted to get this Unity update done early so that any hidden issues can be found while the work on the third and final demo chapter is being done... Oh yeah, did I already tell you about KatFS Chapter 3?

After fighting through the spider swarms and defeating the Spider Queen, Kalia finally escapes the crystal mines. However, her journey is far from over, as she now finds herself at the streets of the ancient buried city. She's not alone, however - the streets have been fortified by Kalia's smartest foes yet, which shall be revealed in due time. Fortunately for Kalia however, she will be equipped with new special abilities to face them down with!
